Affiliate Disclosure

Compare North is free to use. Some of the links to providers earn us a commission. Here is exactly how that works.

How we earn

When you follow certain provider links and go on to sign up, the provider may pay Compare North a commission. This generally does not increase the price you pay — the provider pays it out of their own marketing budget, and any offer you see is the provider’s own.

Not every provider or link has a commercial relationship. Where no such arrangement exists, we still link to the provider so you can research them.

Commission never affects your results

This is the part that matters most. Affiliate relationships are not an input to the Match Engine. They play no part in which providers are eligible, how they are researched or scored, how your answers are weighted, or the order your results appear in. Pricing and links are attached only after the ranking is final.

Your shortlist is produced from researched provider data and the answers you gave, using the same published rules for everyone. You can read those rules on our How Our Matching Works page.

Where you will see this

We show a short version of this disclosure wherever a commercial link can appear: on your results, on saved results, in the shortlist email and on the website builder landscape.

Your relationship is with the provider

Prices, plans, trials, offers and terms are set and controlled by the provider and can change at any time. Once you follow a link, the provider’s own terms and privacy policy apply. Please check the details on their site before you buy.
